Welcome…

This web page is dedicated to the life and love of Nathaniel Jacob Tills whose life was cut short by the devastating disease Leukemia. Nathaniel was 16-Years old when he went to be with the Lord on November 1, 2003 from complications of this dreaded disease. Although Nathaniel is gone he will always be remembered by anyone who had the pleasure of having this young man in their life. When people die young it seems that people often make the comment “It always happens to the good ones”. Well, in this case, that can not be overstated. This was evident by all the friends from all walks of life who attended his wake and funeral. I often said to my wife during this time that I can only hope to have as many friends show up at my wake. It was obvious that Nathaniel was loved and respected by many people. I am so proud of him that he was able to touch so many people in that way. I welcome you to spend some time on this site to get to know Nathaniel and remember him. I encourage you to read the touching Eulogy by Nathaniel's father Darryl. It is the story of Nathaniel's 16 years on earth. Please sign the guestbook to share any thoughts you might have about Nathaniel as well as offer words of support, prayer and encouragement for his family. Also, we would like to keep this site open to other people who may have something they would like to have posted on the site. If you have any pictures, letters, etc that you would like posted please feel free to E-MAIL me at mike@cedgeonline.com and I will get them up on the site.

Once Nathaniel was diagnosed with Leukemia a prayer group was setup on YAHOO to offer words of prayer and support for Nathaniel and his family. Please feel free to visit Nathaniel's prayer room and see the outpouring of love and support many people expressed during his illness. Please read Nathaniel's only message he posted to the prayer group. There are over 250 postings.

Thank you for visiting to honor the life of Nathaniel Jacob "Zeb" Tills. We will miss him forever.

Nathaniel found the Way, the Truth, and the Life in Jesus Christ.
John 14:6

I think the following poem captures the essence of the life and love of our beloved Nathaniel.

"If Tears Could Build A Stairway"

If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane
We would walk right up to heaven
And bring you back again.
No farewell words were spoken
No time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it
And only God knows why.
Our hearts still ache in sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one can ever know.
But now we know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store.
Since you'll never be forgotten
We pledge to you today
A hallowed place within our hearts
Is where you'll always stay.
